Founder
Mark Swenson, founder, is an experienced institutional investor responsible for successfully managing a team of investment professionals with accountability for over $60 billion of assets across a wide array of asset classes for Thrivent Financial, a Fortune 500 diversified financial services organization. Assets included a multi-billion dollar private equity portfolio that invested in private equity funds, and also directly in private businesses through a co-investment program.
Earlier in his career Mark worked for Prudential Financial, for a predecessor to Wells Fargo, and also in a financial position at Abbott Laboratories.
Mark received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota, graduated with distinction; and an MBA from Northwestern University; graduated with distinction. He is also a CFA charterholder.
